Abstract
Latar Belakang: Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Indonesia dalam menurunkan angka kematian ibu dan bayi adalah dengan memasyarakatkan program Keluarga Berencana. Menurut BKKBN Propinsi Jawa Tengah per Agustus 2009 prosentase penggunaan alat kontrasepsi adalah sebagai berikut: IUD 3,13%, MOP 0,30%, Medis Operasi Wanita (MOW) 2,25%, implant atau susuk KB 4,71%, pil 15,98%, suntikan 72,08%, kondom 1,55%.
