PENGARUH MUSIK GERAK TARI TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN MOTORIK KASAR PADA ANAK PRASEKOLAH DI TK ABA KARANGBENDO BANTUL YOGYAKARTA

Background: The process of the implementation of early childhood education is a process of development aimed at children from birth to six years through the provision of educational stimulation to assist the growth and development of the physical and spiritual child to have readiness in entering further education. Motor development could occur best when children have the opportunity big enough to do physical activity in the form of motion-movements that involve all parts of his limbs. Objective: To identify the influence of dance music for gross motor development in preschool children in kindergarten ABA Karangbendo Bantul Yogyakarta. Methods: The study is Pre Experimental Design with the draft study design one group pre and post-test only. The experiment was conducted in July 2015 in TK ABA Karangbendo Bantul Yogyakarta. The population used in this study are all preschool children aged 3-5 years in kindergarten ABA Karangbendo Bantul, Yogyakarta as many as 76 students. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of univariate and bivariate analysis using the formula sign-tets. Results: Before the treatment is given dance music known that from 15 students during the pretest have doubts gross motor development and can not be tested. After being given a musical treat postest dance group there were 8 students memiiliki dubious motor development and can not be tested. There are significant before and after administration of dance music with p value 0.016 Conclusion: There is influence before and after the administration of dance music for gross motor development in preschool children
